Traineeship Location – Ballan and Darley

The Role:  


The Financial Services Trainee will support both the Financial Services and Revenue and Procurement Services teams by performing a range of administrative duties, including: 


  • Property & Client record changes, Statutory Certificates, Sundry Debtors & Infringements. 
  • Import and data entry of Rating and Financial Transactions   
  • Assist with preparation, collation and capture of Contract & Procurement related transactions.   
  • Corporate Banking Transactions 
  • Assist with Corporate Fleet Management and Purchase Cards 
  • Accounts Payable Transaction processing  
  • Prepare other Financial transactions and other departmental duties as required    

About you:  


You must possess:  


  • Strong computer literacy skills in Microsoft Applications, with attention to detail  
  • Willingness to learn and provide accurate administrative support within a busy corporate environment including managing differing and changing priorities.  
  • Strong written and communication skills and self-confidence to develop relationships internally and externally  
  • A commitment to delivering valued customer service in a timely manner. 
  • Strong self-management, time management, decision making and accountability skills 
  • Ability to work collaboratively to achieve team outcomes.   
  • A current Victorian Driver’s Licence
